Let’s talk about Love: Secrets Men wants their Women to Know

Love is the most important thing that could happen to anyone at any time. Therefore, it is good you know and understand your partner if you aspire to build a healthy and long-lasting relationship together. Here, I want to let women in on how they can understand their men and what they hold dear in their lives. Happy reading!!

1. Men talk about feelings

It may be easier for your man to talk about feelings indirectly. For instance, ask him how he will do during a romantic weekend, or what he thought the first time he met you. You will be amazed how he’ll respond to your answer…

2. Men say “I love you” with actions

Some men prefer to express their feelings through actions rather than words. Your man may say “I love you by fixing things around the house or even taking out the trash – anything that makes your world a better place”. I could your heart beat to this. Yes, men do that.

3. Men take commitment seriously

Generally, men have a reputation for being afraid to commit. But evidence suggests that men take marriage seriously. They may take longer to commit because they want to make sure they are on board for good. In a recent survey, 90% of the married men say they would marry the same woman again.

4. Men are listeners

When you are listening to someone talk, you probably indicate to the person that you are listening by nodding, gazing your eyeballs on them, or replying with a “yes” every now and then. But some men don’t do this. And just because your man isn't saying anything doesn't mean he’s not listening to you. Some prefer to listen quietly and think about what you’re saying so they could give a good reply to your story.

5. Men's shared activities form bonds

Men strengthen their relationship primarily through shared activities more than by sharing thoughts or feelings. For many men, activities like sports and sex make them feel closer to their partner.

6. Men need time for themselves

While shared activities are important, men also need time for themselves. Whether your man enjoys golf, football, or working out in a gym house, encourage him to pursue his hobbies while you make time for your own. When both partners have space to nurture their individuality, they have more to give to each other.

7. Men learn from their fathers

If you want to know how a man will act in a relationship, get to know his dad. Some say men learn about their relationship role by watching and listening to their fathers. How they are with each other and how the father relates to the mother can predict how a man will relate to wife.

8. Men let go faster than women

Women tend to remember negative experiences longer and may have lingering feelings of stress, anxiety, or sadness. In contrast, men are less likely to dwell on unpleasant events and tend to move on more quickly. So while you may still want to talk about last night’s argument, your man may have already forgotten about it.

9. Men don’t pick up on subtle cues

Men are more likely to miss subtle signals like tone of voice or facial expressions. They are especially likely to miss sadness on a woman’s face. If you want to make sure your man gets the message, be direct.

10. Men respond to appreciation

Showing appreciation for your man can make a big difference in the way he acts. Studies show that fathers are more involved in care-giving when their wives value their involvement and see them as competent.

11. Men think about sex a lot

This is no secret! Majority of men under age 60 think about sex at least once a day, compared with only a quarter of women. And this is not all. Men fantasize sex nearly twice as often as women do, and their fantasies are much more varied. They also think more about casual sex than women. But thinking isn't the same as doing!

12. Men like it when you initiate sex

Most men feel as though they’re the ones who always initiate sex. But they also like to be pursued and wish their partner would take the lead more often. Don’t be shy about letting your man know you are in the mood. Initiating sex some of the time may lead to a higher level of satisfaction for both of you.

13. Men like pleasing their partner

Your pleasure is important to your man. But he won’t know what you want unless you tell him. Too many women feel uncomfortable talking about what they like and don’t like. If you can tell him clearly in a way that doesn't bruise his ego, he’ll listen because he knows that he will feel good if you feel good.

14. Men may stray when needs aren't met

If a man doesn't feel loved enough and appreciated by her woman in the relationship, he may turn elsewhere for satisfaction and comfort. Most men will bury their self in office work; others may develop a sudden interest in sports or video games, while others will go out and cheat. To avoid this, partners need to work together to meet each other’s needs.

15. Men are vested in their women

Most men realize there’s a lot to lose if a long term relationship goes sour – not just each other’s company, but the entire life you've built together. If you’re willing to work to strengthen your relationship, chances are your man will be too.

Donald Trump & Megyn Kelly In Face-to-Face Interview

Eight months after the “feud” between Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump first flared up, the two sat down for their first face-to-face interview. Fox News released a promo Friday for the special Megyn Kelly Presents to air Tuesday, May 17. The spot features the Fox News personality interviewing the presumptive GOP presidential nominee.

“Let’s talk about us,” Kelly says to Trump, recalling the Aug. 6, 2015 debate when they first crossed swords.

“I wasn’t so fond of you at the time, I will tell you,” Trump responds. The candidate felt she had unfairly singled him out during the debate for particularly negative questioning.

Kelly met with the presidential candidate at Trump Tower on April 13, CNN Money reported. “Yes, the doormen appeared a bit stunned when I walked in,” the Fox News host recounted to her Kelly File audience the evening after the sit-down. “We met for about an hour, just the two of us, and had a chance to clear the air.” Let's hope for a new and better relationship with the duo as the interview air on 17th this month.

Donald Trump Jr. and the Trump ladies watching the results come in and some interesting news this past Tuesday

Still getting over how surreal this experience is. This is a family shot of us watching TV on Tuesday right before we heard the big news. I'm just honored and humbled to be a part of it in any way however small. The people I've met all across this country that just want real change are an inspiration and I am in awe of them and their passion. Thanks for all you do!

Sadiq Khan is now London's first elected Muslim mayor

                                                        Ap_796262185087

Labour candidate Sadiq Khan has been elected Mayor of London, beating his Conservative opponent Zac Goldsmith. According to Gianluca Mezzofiore for Mashable, Khan, 45, replaces flamboyant Conservative Boris Johnson after a race characterised by allegations of extremism and racism.

Goldsmith called Khan — who is Muslim — a "radical" and accused him of giving "platforms, oxygen and even cover" to Islamic extremists. His allegations were echoed by prime minister David Cameron in the parliament, during Wednesdays' question time.

The son of a bus driver from Pakistan, Khan is a former human rights lawyer who branded himself "the British Muslim who takes the fight to the extremists." Before the elections, he promised to be "a mayor for all Londoners," urging voters to "choose hope over fear."

A victory for Khan is a bright spot in what looks set to be a grim day for Labour, which has been out of office nationally since 2010.

Breaking: The Fear of Trump rains in Clinton Camp as they start 'Stop Trump Fund'

Clinton's campaign manager Robby Mook says in an email to supporters that the fund raising drive will "make sure that Trump can never use the power of the presidency" to deport millions of immigrants, prevent Muslims from entering the United States or "punish" women who get abortions.

During months of campaigning, Trump has made some statements about abortion and gay rights that pleased social conservatives and others that unsettled them. That inconsistency, coupled with various liberal-leaning comments he made in past years, has deprived Trump of an enthusiastic embrace by the social conservative camp.

But I think the camp of Clinton is forgetting is that all the negative ads against the Donald by his republican presidential rivals, could not stop his momentum. And the "Stop Trump Movement" also hit the rock.

So I rather vote for a trusted candidate who says the truth and can never be swayed by SuperPacs or political big wigs than to vote for a crooked individual who plays the women card and is being paraded for revealing a countries classified information via email. What information will she reveal when she becomes president? I wonder!!

Five Fashion Mishaps Professional Men Should Avoid

#1 Inappropriate or too many colour patterns

You want to stand out and look smart anywhere any time? The key is to master the art of matching colour pattern when you dress to an occasion. It’s actually simple! Don’t get me wrong. To be smartly dressed, add one patterned item (shirt or tie or jacket or trouser), while every other thing is different or add two patterned item while everything else is different. Do not wear striped shirt with a striped jacket, it is not ideal.

#2 Do not leave your shoe unpolished

Many people are fond of doing this. They wear unpolished shoe to any outing or occasion or anywhere they are going. If you do not want to take time to shine your shoes and prepare properly for your event, find a shoe stand where you can always get your shoe polished – it is very necessary. Wearing unpolished shoe can ruin your entire dress sense and looks, no matter how gorgeously dressed you look. Spend good money on quality shoe and keep them healthy with regular shine.

#3 Oversized or undersized shirts and trousers

It is important that shirts and trousers fit well. Have your tailor check your body size and sew the best fitting shirts and trousers for you. Many wear too large shirts and trousers, the effect of this is that you will be pulling them almost all the time and it will make you feel uncomfortable. Undersized clothes equally make you not to feel organized and makes you restless because you will find it difficult to adjust yourself properly. Remember, the goal is to look smart in your dressing at all times.

#4 Never leave the designer tag on your suit jacket

It is not your place to do advertisement for the designer of the suit. So why leave the designer tag on it? It is good you are spending money to buy quality suit, but you do not have to let everybody know you are wearing a branded suit. They already know the worth of your jacket. The tags are only there to assist store personnel with inventory recognition. Therefore, you are required to remove the designer tag on purchase of the jacket.

#5 Using wrong buttons on the jacket

Thanks to the people at Real Men Real Style where I learnt this rule. The rules of buttoning a jacket looks simple but if you do not know they seem pretty difficult.

The rules are;

i. When sitting, no button should be used
ii. When standing, for a single button jacket – always use the button. For a two button jacket – always use the top button. For a three button jacket – always use the middle button.

Senate prescribe death penalty for kidnapper

Nigerian Senators yesterday May 4th, unanimously agreed to facilitate the process of enacting a law that will prescribe death penalty to anyone found guilty of kidnapping. At the house plenary, the senate prevailed on all state governors to enact laws that will prosecute anyone found guilty of kidnapping.

Speaking during the debate, the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, supported the motion and also narrated his personal experience with kidnappers. In his statement he said;
“Just recently, one of my relations also was kidnapped. So, I believe I am talking as an expert or an experienced person in kidnapping. I know the psychology of kidnappers because I stayed for two days with them. These are normal human beings who are sometimes looking for money and also afraid of security agencies. I think there are three types of kidnappers. There are some who kidnapped either to make a statement or to intimidate the government, like the Boko Haram people and the Niger Delta militants. Then there is another type of kidnappers, these are just normal armed robbers. Sometimes, they just kidnapped you, put you in the boot and they can even use the vehicle as an escape or they use it to rob. Such kidnappers, once they succeed, it’s either they take away the vehicle, use it or they dump their victim. But the third type, which is very dangerous, is the professional kidnappers, who kidnapped for money and that is the one we are focusing on this afternoon. We have encouraged this type of kidnapping because we panic and pay money most times. This kind of kidnappers, when they take you, they put you somewhere else and they can refer you to negotiate so that they can set you free and go for another business. Most times, our people are reluctant to delay or endure the inconvenience or the hardship and then they quickly negotiate and if we can discourage this kind of kidnappings, the only way forward is to insist that you will not pay.”
Also speaking during the deliberation, Senator Dino Melaye said firing squad should be adopted for any suspected kidnapper that is found guilty.
