The United States government slams President Muhammadu Buhari’s as they released a damning report which indicts his government over human rights abuses, injustice, and brutality at all levels. The report, released by the US Department of State, accuses security agencies like the Department of State Security Services (DSS) which reports directly to the president of gross abuse of power, human rights, torture, arbitrary and unlawful detentions, and brutality.
The report also notes that untold human rights abuses in Nigeria are perpetuated by the Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, the world’s most deadly terrorist organisation who has committed genocide in the North East of Nigeria targeting Christians and school children.
