Donald Trump Jr. and the Trump ladies watching the results come in and some interesting news this past Tuesday
Still getting over how surreal this experience is. This is a family shot of us watching TV on Tuesday right before we heard the big news. I'm just honored and humbled to be a part of it in any way however small. The people I've met all across this country that just want real change are an inspiration and I am in awe of them and their passion. Thanks for all you do!
He shared the pics on his Facebook page with the caption...

Sadiq Khan is now London's first elected Muslim mayor
Labour candidate Sadiq Khan has been elected Mayor of London, beating his Conservative opponent Zac Goldsmith. According to Gianluca Mezzofiore for Mashable, Khan, 45, replaces flamboyant Conservative Boris Johnson after a race characterised by allegations of extremism and racism.
Goldsmith called Khan — who is Muslim — a "radical" and accused him of giving "platforms, oxygen and even cover" to Islamic extremists. His allegations were echoed by prime minister David Cameron in the parliament, during Wednesdays' question time.
The son of a bus driver from Pakistan, Khan is a former human rights lawyer who branded himself "the British Muslim who takes the fight to the extremists." Before the elections, he promised to be "a mayor for all Londoners," urging voters to "choose hope over fear."
A victory for Khan is a bright spot in what looks set to be a grim day for Labour, which has been out of office nationally since 2010.

Breaking: The Fear of Trump rains in Clinton Camp as they start 'Stop Trump Fund'
Clinton's campaign manager Robby Mook says in an email to supporters that the fund raising drive will "make sure that Trump can never use the power of the presidency" to deport millions of immigrants, prevent Muslims from entering the United States or "punish" women who get abortions.
During months of campaigning, Trump has made some statements about abortion and gay rights that pleased social conservatives and others that unsettled them. That inconsistency, coupled with various liberal-leaning comments he made in past years, has deprived Trump of an enthusiastic embrace by the social conservative camp.
But I think the camp of Clinton is forgetting is that all the negative ads against the Donald by his republican presidential rivals, could not stop his momentum. And the "Stop Trump Movement" also hit the rock.
So I rather vote for a trusted candidate who says the truth and can never be swayed by SuperPacs or political big wigs than to vote for a crooked individual who plays the women card and is being paraded for revealing a countries classified information via email. What information will she reveal when she becomes president? I wonder!!

Five Fashion Mishaps Professional Men Should Avoid
#1 Inappropriate or too many colour patterns
You want to stand out and look smart anywhere any time? The key is to master the art of matching colour pattern when you dress to an occasion. It’s actually simple! Don’t get me wrong. To be smartly dressed, add one patterned item (shirt or tie or jacket or trouser), while every other thing is different or add two patterned item while everything else is different. Do not wear striped shirt with a striped jacket, it is not ideal.
#2 Do not leave your shoe unpolished
Many people are fond of doing this. They wear unpolished shoe to any outing or occasion or anywhere they are going. If you do not want to take time to shine your shoes and prepare properly for your event, find a shoe stand where you can always get your shoe polished – it is very necessary. Wearing unpolished shoe can ruin your entire dress sense and looks, no matter how gorgeously dressed you look. Spend good money on quality shoe and keep them healthy with regular shine.
#3 Oversized or undersized shirts and trousers
It is important that shirts and trousers fit well. Have your tailor check your body size and sew the best fitting shirts and trousers for you. Many wear too large shirts and trousers, the effect of this is that you will be pulling them almost all the time and it will make you feel uncomfortable. Undersized clothes equally make you not to feel organized and makes you restless because you will find it difficult to adjust yourself properly. Remember, the goal is to look smart in your dressing at all times.
#4 Never leave the designer tag on your suit jacket
It is not your place to do advertisement for the designer of the suit. So why leave the designer tag on it? It is good you are spending money to buy quality suit, but you do not have to let everybody know you are wearing a branded suit. They already know the worth of your jacket. The tags are only there to assist store personnel with inventory recognition. Therefore, you are required to remove the designer tag on purchase of the jacket.
#5 Using wrong buttons on the jacket
Thanks to the people at Real Men Real Style where I learnt this rule. The rules of buttoning a jacket looks simple but if you do not know they seem pretty difficult.
The rules are;
i. When sitting, no button should be used
ii. When standing, for a single button jacket – always use the button. For a two button jacket – always use the top button. For a three button jacket – always use the middle button.

Senate prescribe death penalty for kidnapper
Nigerian Senators yesterday May 4th, unanimously agreed to facilitate the process of enacting a law that will prescribe death penalty to anyone found guilty of kidnapping. At the house plenary, the senate prevailed on all state governors to enact laws that will prosecute anyone found guilty of kidnapping.
Speaking during the debate, the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, supported the motion and also narrated his personal experience with kidnappers. In his statement he said;
“Just recently, one of my relations also was kidnapped. So, I believe I am talking as an expert or an experienced person in kidnapping. I know the psychology of kidnappers because I stayed for two days with them. These are normal human beings who are sometimes looking for money and also afraid of security agencies. I think there are three types of kidnappers. There are some who kidnapped either to make a statement or to intimidate the government, like the Boko Haram people and the Niger Delta militants. Then there is another type of kidnappers, these are just normal armed robbers. Sometimes, they just kidnapped you, put you in the boot and they can even use the vehicle as an escape or they use it to rob. Such kidnappers, once they succeed, it’s either they take away the vehicle, use it or they dump their victim. But the third type, which is very dangerous, is the professional kidnappers, who kidnapped for money and that is the one we are focusing on this afternoon. We have encouraged this type of kidnapping because we panic and pay money most times. This kind of kidnappers, when they take you, they put you somewhere else and they can refer you to negotiate so that they can set you free and go for another business. Most times, our people are reluctant to delay or endure the inconvenience or the hardship and then they quickly negotiate and if we can discourage this kind of kidnappings, the only way forward is to insist that you will not pay.”Also speaking during the deliberation, Senator Dino Melaye said firing squad should be adopted for any suspected kidnapper that is found guilty.

Tinubu’s Wife, Oluremi Admits that there's poverty and hunger in Nigeria
Former Lagos State first lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, representing Lagos central at the Senate on Tuesday said that there was a lot of poverty and hunger in the country, attributing it to the previous administration.
Oluremi made this known while contributing to a bill seeking to make provisions for freedom from hunger and the right to adequate food of acceptable quality which was presented by Theodore Orji, a senator from Abia central and former governor of the state.
She said: “This country is going through a lot of poverty. The past administration led us to where we are. This present administration has placed priority on agriculture. And it is going to take time, and it is going to take a lot of input from everyone”.
Ted Cruz Drops Out of GOP Presidential Primary Race After Loss in Indiana
Mr. Cruz departs the presidential contest after exhausting an array of campaign moves, from forging an unprecedented alliance with fellow candidate John Kasich to prematurely deny the Donald a great number of voters to putting up negative campaign ads against Mr Trump to picking Carly Fiorina as his running mate few days to the Indiana primaries. This is big news for the real estate mogul!! I wonder what Kasich intentions are in the race, he should bow out too-- loser!
Ted Cruz campaign hits the rock as he loss Indiana primaries
Ted Cruz needed to win Indiana primaries tonight but he lost to his rival Donald J. Trump.
There's no couching it: He has staked his campaign on the primary here. He convinced John Kasich to pull his resources out of the state so he could go head to head with Donald Trump. He has spent the past week criss-crossing the state, criticizing Trump to voters.
And recent polls show him down.
This will be the first state to vote since Cruz was mathematically eliminated from contention to clinch the nomination outside of a contested convention, and so he's been campaigning on keeping Trump from getting to the magic number.
A possible bad sign for him from exit polls?
Three-quarters of voters in Indiana say they were casting a ballot in support of their candidate rather than against his opponent, and two-thirds think the candidate with the most support in primaries and caucuses should be the nominee at the convention if no one captures a majority of the delegates.
The statewide winner tonight on the Republican side gets 30 out of 57 delegates automatically. Cruz not only needs that kind of margin to keep Trump from getting to 1,237 -- he also needs it to show that he can even win anywhere else on the map.
Tonight is a rare night where it is even more about momentum than it is about math. If voters in Indiana don't go for Cruz's stop Trump pitch, it's hard to believe they will elsewhere in the country.
Jim Acosta in New York: Trump's camp ready for 'yuge' win in Indiana
The Donald Trump campaign isn't providing any proof that Ted Cruz's father was involved in the Kennedy assassination, as Trump alleged today. And they're not offering any apologies either. Trump sources tell me they feel Cruz was absolutely knocked "off his game" today. A "yuge" win as one source described it.
Just at a time when Cruz was trying to paint Trump as unfit to be president, the real estate tycoon fired off release a statement describing the Texas senator as desperate -- responding to Cruz's emotional outburst in response to the unsupported allegations about his father.
CNN has not independently confirmed the report from the National Enquirer — and there is no evidence that it is true.
As for the primary, a separate Trump source says tonight's expected win will make the GOP front-runner the presumptive nominee. But the campaign isn't shifting totally into general election mode just yet.
They don't believe they will hit the magic number of 1,237 before California. So they can't relax. And despite all the Trump VP chatter inside the Beltway, this source said there are no signs a big vetting effort is underway. As one source put it, they are still trying to get the party comfortable with Trump as the nominee.

Close to $15bn, more than half of Nigeria's current foreign reserves, was lost to fraudulent security equipment spending - VP
Read the press statement below..
The Vice President spoke today at the book presentation of the Ibadan-based elite group, House of Lords, which just published an indepth analysis by different experts titled "Nigeria: The Challenges of Growth and Development, " at the University of Ibadan.
While observing that the Buhari presidency has kept on a sustained fight against corruption, the Vice President said the country simply cannot sustain the shocking level of public sector corruption in particular.
Said he: "When you look at the sheer amount of money that have been embezzled, the sheer amount of money lost from any of these various cases of corruption, you will find that far too much has been lost. "
Continuing he disclosed that "it was discovered a few days ago that the total amount of money lost just to corruption in part of...and provision of security equipments in the military is closer to 15 billion US dollars."
While the nation's foreign reserves is now around about $27B, Prof Osinbajo, driving home the stark significance of the such corruption, noted that the $15 billion figure "is more than half of the current foreign reserves of the country."
He then told the audience made up of top Nigerian elites drawn from academics, business and the professions that what the Buhari presidency is "trying to do is to ensure that there are consequences for corruption and we try to send a message that anyone who is found to have been corrupt would not only dislodge the property they have stolen but will also pay for it in terms of the sanctions of the law."
According to him, "I believe strongly that it is important to send a message that no public officer can steal the resources of this country and expect to escape. I hope the message would be loud and clear and it will inform behaviour in the future."
Throwing a challenge to the generality of the Nigerian elite, Prof Osinbajo said "the limits of the growth and development of most nations largely depend on the strength of the value-driven influence of their elite, indeed it is evident that the reason for the development and growth of most societies is not resources, but values, (otherwise African countries will be the most developed.)
Citing the example of Singapore to back up his submission, the VP noted that the reason why the "tiny, resourceless island is richer than most of sub-Saharan Africa with its vast resources is values: hard-work, integrity, innovation promoted by a committed elite. Thus the custodian elite especially in largely poor and illiterate societies has a huge responsibility."
He said that responsinility is what he called "The burden of privilege."
He explained: "I have argued elsewhere that the privileged, or the elite both individually and collectively have a responsibility, an obligation to society, to plan it, organise it, order or reorder it and above all to make sacrifices for it, for the maximum benefit of all."
Continuing he added: "This is the burden of privilege. It is their -elite-obligation individually and collectively to chart the course for the millions. They define and house the ethos and the public sense of the people. It is their expected role to find common cause across professions, vocations, ethnicities and faiths, defining the minimum terms and conditions for the safety, security, growth and prosperity of the community."
Furthermore he stated that the elites "define clearly what is lofty, what is noble, what is deserving of honour and how these values can be sustained, preserved and enforced. This is the burden of privilege. The French describes it as “Noblese oblige” --nobility obligates or perhaps more correctly for our purpose, privilege obligates. Society fails when the elite abdicates its role."
Based therefore on the recent past of the country, the Vice President lamented that "to a large extent the ethical space has been vacated by the Nigerian elite. In its place are all manner of excuses and false justifications of bad behaviour. Today ethnicity and religion protect corruption and abuse of power. Mediocrity is encouraged by the subjection of merit to variations of quota systems. Quotas are not in themselves wrong, but must be the exceptions not the rule."
He stated three principles that the Nigerian elites ought to accept and pursue to ensure nation's growth and development:
The first is integrity-a rigorous maintenance of transparency, accountability in governance
The second: the discipline of implementation, which encapsulates planning, timeliness and precision.
And third: the rigorous enforcement of rules, law and order.
"Each of these is founded on ethical constructs that are established, nurtured and protected by the elite. In doing so the elite must understand its responsibility, the obligations that the privilege of education, status and providence confers."
"It was the aristocratic elite in the United Kingdom that presented the MagnaCarta Libertatum: a charter of human freedoms that has become the template for constitutional rights anywhere in the world. Those barons, not lawyers, crafted the high-minded words of that charter including those that through the ages undergird the enduring notions of the rule of law and judicial integrity namely: "To none will we sell, to none deny or delay, right or justice."
"Similarly it was the American elite that drew up the words of its Constitution and its other documents enabling personal autonomy and free enterprise. The puritans a small but powerful group entrenched the Anglo-American concept of hard work, creativity and trustworthiness, their reward is that the work ethic said to be responsible for the success of the industrial revolution is named after them, 'the puritanical work ethic.' "
"There is very little reason why concepts such as "Omoluabi," or equivalents which conflate notions of a person, character and introspection should not be insisted upon and established.
It is my humble submission so, that it is the business of the Nigerian elite through its most revered social institutions to promote the values that are fundamental to development and growth. Policies are often only as good as the character and commitment of its implementers."

"Nigeria lost about $15B to fraudulent and corrupt practices in the security equipment spending during the last administration, Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has disclosed, even as he spoke of hope that the implementation of the 2016 budget would commence soon. "By the grace of God in the next few days we will begin the implementation of one of the most ambitious budgets in our history.Ambitious not just in its size but more in its broad range of fiscal and other socio-economic policies," according to the Vice President.
